Parties, Practice Sessions and Dancing Events
Parties and Practice Sessions are scheduled in all Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studios to provide an ideal atmosphere in which to practice with dance teachers and other dance students. Regular parties are usually held for current students. Special Guest parties introduce new people and friends of dance students to the studio activities, where they can enjoy the new experience of being among people who actually know how to dance well. Memorable music and delicious refreshments abound, and a wonderful time is experienced by all who attend. Most Fred Astaire Dance Studios also promote regional and national dance championships that feature Professional and Amateur dance competition in a professional, fun atmosphere.

Formations
Formation Teams are a great way to do something fun and take part in our exciting studio community. Formation teams are groups of interested students who meet at the same time each week to produce a professionally choreographed routine. These routines are generally performed at one of our showcase balls, and may even be performed at a regional competition.
